πŸ‘‹ Hi Lilypad Resource Providers!

The Lilypad IncentiveNet has grown quickly! Thank you to our early community for the incredible support. The network unfortunately encountered scaling issues between August/15 to September/05 leading to inconsistencies with Resource Providers (RP) running the IncentiveNet Proof of Work (PoW) mechanism. These inconsistencies lead to lost Lilybit_ rewards during this date range.

After an investigation, we have identified a list of RPs (that were correctly setup and active) from August/15 to September/05 that were affected. Today, Retroactive Lilybits_ rewards were sent out to affected RPs providing Lilybits_ for these days. As a thank you to affected RPs, we have included a 11% bonus on top of retroactive rewards!

When community members began reaching out with issues around PoW, our team started a Priority0 sprint to identify the root causes and implement an action plan. This included scaling up much of the Lilypad core infrastructure to meet the growing demand. As we continue to scale, please let the team know if you encounter additional issues with running the PoW on your RP.

If a RP was active/online during the date range and lost Lilybit_ Rewards due to PoW issues, they have been fully compensated!

🟒 Retroactive rewards for Aug/15 - Sept/05 were added to the wallet address of each affected RP and is now reflected in the Leaderboard (https://info.lilypad.tech/leaderboard)

🟒 To counteract slashing that may have occurred, we added 11% bonus rewards for each RP in addition to lost rewards for the affected date range

🟒 RPs with downtime caused by user error or incorrect setup, eg. running out of tokens, will not be included in the retroactive rewards
